Tianlong mountain rock cave is 40 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan. The view of Tianlong mountain rock cave starts in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. In period of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, the prime minister builds the summer resort palace in Tianlong mountain, cut the rock cave, build the temple. The rock cave is distributed on the overhanging cliff, there are 25 caves, more than 500 statues altogether. At the beginning of 1920's, the rock cave suffered the serious destruction of imperialism, most masterpieces in the rock cave were smuggled abroad, lost in countries such as Japan and America and Europe,etc..
